ABOUT MERCED COUNTY’S MOST WANTED, INC.

Merced County’s Most Wanted, Inc. (MCMW) is a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation (Tax ID # 20-1163708).
MCMW was founded in 2004 by a group of Merced County individuals who wanted to help local law enforcement combat criminal activity in the area.

Many crimes remain unsolved because law enforcement officials often lack vital information that can lead to an arrest; information you may have but be unaware just how useful your “missing piece of the puzzle” could be to solve a criminal case.

The MCMW Board of Directors believe community involvement plays a critical role in helping local law enforcement control crime and apprehend criminals. We embrace the “Four Pillars of Partnership: Education, Community, Media, and Law Enforcement.” With these four basic concepts in mind, we believe that you, as community members, through the educational process, media awareness and law enforcement collaboration, can provide the “missing piece of the puzzle” which will bring these criminals to justice.

While MCMW has been successful in apprehending many felons over the past several years, crime continues to haunt our community and no one is immune. Our farm land and drinking water have been contaminated from methamphetamine labs, leaving behind toxic waste for you, the taxpayer, to clean up. Property crimes such as metal theft and burglaries continue to burden our society, and of course, the ever-increasing gang violence affects all of us regardless of socio-economic status.

With your help, the “Four Pillars of Partnership” can be firmly cemented in place and we will take back our community.

JOIN US IN ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN MERCED COUNTY
WITH YOUR "PIECE OF THE PUZZLE."
